Terms of use
Vambo Collect is a tool for people contributing to, reviewing, or managing speech datasets for African languages. Access is by invitation.
Your account is yours alone. Do not share credentials. Work submitted under your account is attributed to you and paid to you.
Contribute honestly. Record your own voice, transcribe what you actually hear, and review work on its merits. Submitting someone else's audio as your own, or approving work you have not examined, ends the arrangement and voids the associated payments.
Payment. Approved contributions accrue at the published rate for the work. Rates are visible to you on your earnings page, including the calculation. Payments are made in batches; timing depends on your payment method.
Confidentiality. If your role lets you listen to other people's recordings, you may not copy, share, or discuss their content outside the platform.
Ending it. Either side may stop at any time. Earnings already approved remain payable.
